ABOUT ME
Susan Wells Jenevein partners with ultra-high-net-worth families to help them flourish. An expert on guiding families and family members on the most successful ways to steward their financial, philanthropic, social, human and spiritual capital to produce financial wellness, she is uniquely skilled in helping families accomplish the potential of their legacies.
For more than a decade, Susan has worked with families who operate American’s iconic businesses helping them to prepare their children and young adults for shared decision-making and ownership. Susan coaches parents and grandparents on how to cultivate children and grandchildren who embrace financial wellness by establishing a comprehensive vision for their family’s legacy. She designs and delivers bespoke financial wellness curricula to teach about the family business and the financial and communication skills needed to succeed as adult family members.
Having served as the Managing Director in charge of Family Learning and Philanthropy at a nationally recognized multi-family office, and now in private consulting practice, Susan has served some of the wealthiest families in America with some of the most complex family learning and philanthropy needs.
Her background as an attorney allows her to advise on architecting of estate and financial plans and serve the financial and human goals and needs. She partners daily with financial advisors to integrate the human elements and financial best practices that produce the highest-level wealth advisory services.
Susan is a skilled facilitator of important conversations who expertly guides families through succession, investment, philanthropic, and business planning conversations.Her clients include America’s iconic families, rising generation leaders, large single-family offices, and foundations making profound societal impact. She partners with financial advisors, attorneys, family office leaders, experts in family learning and philanthropic advisors.
Susan is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the McCombs School of Business. She also holds a Bachelors of Liberal Arts in the school’s Honors Plan II program as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. After practicing law for several years, where she focused on estate planning, Susan transitioned to working with ultra-high-net-worth families, guiding them to establish comprehensive plans for generational financial wellness.
